Wheel Alignment 101

So, what exactly is an alignment? It's a tune-up of your car's steering and suspension system to get all the angles just right. An alignment check examines various components to see if there's a need for a little tweaking:

Toe: Looking down at your tires, this is the direction your wheels point (inwards or outwards)

Camber: Looking straight at your tires from the front, this is whether the top or bottom of your tire tilts inwards

Caster: From the side of your car, this is the angle of your steering axis

Thrust Angle: This imaginary line between the front and rear axles is measured with a four-wheel alignment

When our tech whizzes perform an alignment check, you'll get a detailed report on their findings and recommendations

At Honest1 , our front- and four-wheel alignments are performed by highly trained, ASE certified and experienced technicians using state-of-the-art alignment and calibration equipment, and you will receive documentation of the alignment findings and our recommendations.

Signs You Need An Alignment

Keep an eye out for these telltale signs that you might need an alignment:

  • Steering wheel's a bit crooked while you're driving straight
  • Your car seems to have a mind of its own, pulling or drifting left or right
  • The tread on your tires is wearing unevenly
  • You frequently drive over potholes or rough roads
  • You've recently hit a curb or parking barrier

If any of these sound familiar, get in touch with us to book an evaluation. Trust us, your car (and your tires) will thank you!
