This was my first time using Honest-1 Auto Care Eagan East, and I had a great experience. The turnaround time was quick, and the service was handled professionally from start to finish. I especially appreciated the detailed inspection report with clear recommendations and transparent pricing. There was no pressure to approve additional services which made the whole experience feel trustworthy and comfortable. My car is running great now and I will definitely be back.

I wish I could give 10 stars. First of all, the moment Kurt answered my call for service when my Buick Enclave broke down, I knew I called the right place. Kurt's calming voice and demeanor was soothing in a hectic, chaotic and scary moment. He assured me he had a tow coming, he understood what the problem was and how things would work, and when. After I left my car and took taxi home, I got a call from Kurt assuring me my car was in their hands and safe. They then opened a text thread...

I went in for an oil change ge and was informed ed that not only did I need cabin and engine filters, but my rear brake pads and rotors were dangerously thin. While my car was being serviced, they drove me home, and then after calling me that my car was done (sooner than expected), they picked me up and...

Honest 1 Auto care is the best car repair shop I have been to and unfortunately I’ve been to a ton of them. What separates them from the others is the detailed inspection report they send you that stays up to date as repairs get completed. They also drive you / send a Lyft or uber to get you a ride back to the shop or work if you’re in the area. Customer service is fantastic particularly from Dominik he always does a great job keeping me in the loop. Prices are reasonable they do not try to...

I went in to get my car checked out, they let me know right away that my specific issue is probably under warranty, so if I went to a Chevy dealer, it would be free. I had no idea, and without knowing this I would’ve just let them fix it for a cost. They had amazing integrity. Even after that, they still gave my car the immediate fix it needed to be able to get to the Chevy dealership, free of charge. I walked out of there with a patched up car, great advice, and didn’t even spend a dime....
Your brakes work like a trio: you (the operator), hydraulic pressure, and friction. No matter what car or truck you have, all brake systems use and create friction to slow you down.
Like a pair of favorite shoes, brakes wear down over time. Regular fluid flushes and periodic brake services are essential to avoid a full brake replacement. Aside from a warning light turning on, here are some telltale signs you may need a brake repair:
Schedule your next brake repair or replacement with Honest1 for our Roadworthy Guarantee®.
During each of our brake services, our Roadworthy™ technicians will test drive your car, check the brake fluid, and flush the system of any contaminants if needed. We’ll also check for any signs a brake replacement or repair is in order. Signs like:
The best way to prevent unwanted squeals and dangerous driving is regular brake inspection. Though it depends on driving habits, terrain, and parts quality, brake pads generally last between 30,000 to 70,000 miles (we know, that's a big a range).
